Suggest Treatment For Canker Sore And Swollen Lip

Broke a crown last week and part of underlying tooth. Dr. advised tooth implant which is Ok - scheduled. However, stuck old crown back with glue until appt next week. Now I have a gigantic canker sore on upper gum near the broken tooth and it has swollen my right side of lip and face - noticeably so - had dentist look at it - he said it was gigantic and said rinse with salt water and apply anbesol. The swelling continues and makes me look like I had a stroke - what more can I do?

Chances of infection need to be ruled out, and it is advisable to have antibiotic till then and the best medicines would be Tab Amoxicillin with cloxacillin three times in day, along with this anti-inflammatory could be continued, take care and have a nice day.
