Suggest Treatment For Canker Sore On The Side Of My Tongue

Hi I have had swollen tongue with like a canker sore on the side of tongue which gives considerable pain. I have seen doctors had antibiotics and seen two specialists who state it is not mouth cancer plus the dentist has checked for this. I have been in pain over a year and use oragel.

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The ulcer over the tongue can be a traumatic ulcer or a recurrent aphthous ulcer. Nothing to be panic consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. You can use topical steroids like triamcinolone acetone and for pain you can use topical anesthetics like lignocaine. If the ulcer does not heal in two weeks then get it biopsied.
I hope I have answered your query. Take care..
