Suggest Treatment For Canker Sore Under Tongue, Swollen Glands And Altered Taste In Mouth

I have white stuff on my tongue like thrush and a few lil blisters on it here and there. I had that two years ago but not like this. I have a canker sore under my tongue left side and my throat is sore on that side. My gland has been swollen on left side too. My mucous is now taking on a rust color. I have been using nistatin for 3 days now and its not getting any better. I also been gargling with peroxide water. I been gargling with warm salt water with only a little relief. It hurts to drink water or anything unless its thick. It hurts to eat yogurt less so with oatmeal. The frozen yogurt felt good to eat and tasted good. I also have a horrible taste in my mouth. So what else is this than thrush and a canker sore getting worried. I have not had any sore throat like this before. The throat is not a constant pain unless I try to eat or drink. But my tongue burns. It seems that canker sore hurts the worse it hits everything if I move my tongue much T

Hello,

From the details mentioned,i suspect your tongue as well as mucosa is affected by oral submucous fibrosis lesions.

Usually corticosteroids has to be administered to cure this.

Avoid spicy,acidic foods.

Tobacco as well as pan chewing has to be discontinued.

Maintain oral hygiene well.

Vitamin b complex as well as iron supplements has to be administered.

Hope this helps.
