Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain as you have a large number of canker sores in your mouth and there are severe signs of inflammation and as the condition did not improve by taking any antibiotics , you need to take a steroid therapy to reduce inflammation and provide relief..

I would suggest you to consult a dentist or a general physician and get evaluated..

You need to start with steroids like methylprednisolone to get relieved as when nothing reduces the symptoms in canker sores the steroids do.

Sip on cold water to reduce inflammation and pain..

Take more of liquids and avoid any hot and spicy food..

You can apply steroid gels over the sores for relief..

Applying numbing gels containing choline salicylate or lignocaine half an hour before meals to avoid discomfort during meals..

Gargle with mild salt water.

Antimicrobial mouth rinses can be used..

Rinsing with 1:1 solution of milk of magnesia and benadryl liquid can have good results.

In case of severe pain over the counter painkillers like Ibuprofen can be taken..

Drink plenty of water to keep hydrated to avoid dry mouth which can further add up to irritation..

Hope you get well soon...
