Dear doctor..My father is 53 yr old an dmet with accident almost 2 yrs bank and injured his left brain..left crainoplasty was done ..also with VP shunt.. he is diabetic..after the surgery he was fine for 6 months where he attended his work for 1 month.later he develpeed cataract in his left eye.after the cataract he took rest for 20 days ..and put on weight..from then he is unable to walk..and sign..slowly he stopped doing many things like ..eating on his own..going to bathroom..physiotherapy is going on but he doent want to do any exercise. he sleep or lying down.he doen t want to do any activity..atleast doesn t want to try. also he developed acquired nystagmus in his eyes..he says he cannot see and doesn t read newspaper also. Recent MRI showed there is proper flow in the shunt and its working properly..thyriod test also showed normal...people who vist him say that he is low in confidence and need to boost it.. doctor..can u help me what to do.. thank you i am his daughter...
