Suggest Treatment For Cellulitis Under Eye

I have cellulitis under my eye. First antibiotic (took 1100 mg s of doxycycline) but didn t work, got worse, now on Keflex, have only 3 pills left but scab formed yesterday......do I need more antibiotic, how long will scab stay on, should I return to the ER.

Hi. If the redness, pain, swelling, discharge and local warmth is gone and its dry with good scab, probably its healing and you need not worry about anything. however, if any one the above mentioned features are there, its a sign of worry and you might need to continue same antibiotic or switch to another antibiotic.
