Suggest Treatment For Chest And Abdominal Pain

My wife is having chest pains,Left side as I look at her, her right side. Pain is above abdomen radiates all the right side ribs to her back and shoulder. Lots of pressure feeling and stabbing pain under her right breast. Has a lot of gas she s belching a fair amount , seems to be spreading to the opposite shoulder blade now as well. She s taken Zantac, tums, and Maylox. None of them seem to be helping it much. Only food ingested today was a bowl of bran type cereal for breakfast like normal and 3 chicken fingers for lunch. The pain started right after lunch.

Hi,

I would explain that her symptoms could be related to different possible causes: gastric ulcer, acid reflux, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, etc.

For this reason, I recommend going to the ER for a physical exam, an abdominal ultrasound, a resting ECG and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, PCR, ESR, kidney and liver function tests, amylase and lipase plasma levels).
