i was having a pain around 4 months back, around my chest, left shoulder, left arm and neck. it was sort of localized pain, having a piercing sensation. it used to come and go, but was pretty frequent. i had an ECG done, and the doctor initially said that i was a bit ischemic. i consulted a cardiologist, who told me that ecg is not sufficient, and ordered a lipid profile, echocardiogram and stress test. these all came back absolutely normal.he said my heart was in excellent state, and it was due to stress. the intensity and frequency of pain has reduced substantially now, though now and then, i do have a piercing sensation, which i feel is very superficial, as if it is on the skin itself. also, i tend to get a crawling sensation every now and then. besides, ever since my ecg, i have a feeling that i actually have a heart disease which did not get caught in the later tests. is it possible that the tests came out ok though i have heart problems. i used to study a lot lying down on my chest and propping myself up on my left shoulder prior to my problems. also, lately, i can feel my heart beating while lying down
