Hi
Welcome to HCM
I understand quite well your concern
Based on what you referred to me, I doubt that your child maybe suffering: 1.Acute tonsillitis: I don't know if she may have white spots of pus on them. Often, recurrent tonsillitis is often a symptom of allergy to dairy products.
2.Another possibility can be epiglottitis: a dangerous throat infection which may cause severe difficulty breathing, noisy breathing and difficulty swallowing. Seek proffesional help immediately!!
3.Laryngitis: can cause croup in children. Treatment is with inhaled steroids to reduce the laryngeal edema.( only if the doctor recommend so!!) Sometimes just steam will relieve the cough.
Be careful because tonsillitis can lead to respiratory problems and maybe your child has developed bronchiolitis or pneumonia!!
So, please take your daughter to a specialist in order to evaluate your child situation to see whether infection is due to virus or bacteria (to find the underlying cause). Then he will prescribe you antibiotics or other advices.

Hope this was helpful to you
