Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You need to start with

A) throat swab culture
B) antibiotics according to the sensitivity
C) chest xray
D) steam inhalation
E) nasal decongestant
F) Green mucus is a sign that this is progressing and needs immediate attention.

Steam would make it less snotty and easy to express out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
