Suggest Treatment For Chest Discomfort While Bending Down

hello gopi sir...i need a second opnion for my mother... she had 2 stents last oct'09 but she is complaining of chest discomfort while bending down... i wld be grateful if u can mail me ...at YYYY@YYYY thanking u and looking 4ward for ur most precious medical advice... i have learnt that u r one the best CARDIOLOGIST IN TOWN...regards and happy and fun day tara

I can understand your concern.
Chest pain on bending down is mostly due to musculoskeletal pain.
No need to worry for cardiac cause for such pain.
So tell your mother to follow these steps for better symptomatic relief in musculoskeletal pain.
1. Avoid movements causing pain. Avoid sudden jerky movements of chest.
2. Apply warm water pad on affected areas of chest.
3. Take simple painkiller like paracetamol or ibuprofen.
4. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
Don't worry, she will be alright with all these.
