Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello Dr. Koregol. I have been diagnosed with stable angina and mild ischemia in the left ventrical of the arterial wall. I have no angina, although I have had chest discomfort in the past. My cholesterol levels are well within the normal limits and my blood pressure is average. The findings were made after a nuclear stress test. I have been on Atorvastatin and low dose aspirin. I am not experiencing any pain. I am obese, 63 year old female, non-smoker for over 20 years. My cardiologist has suggested a cardiac catheterization, however, I am not convinced this is necessary. Please advise. Suzanne Gregory
