Suggest Treatment For Chest Infection And Cough
I have a severe cough for which I am on antibiotics I started Tuesday. But my cough isn t clearing. I am bringing up lots of clear phlegm. I have a chest infection and asthma but feel like the cough won t clear up. I m scared I will tear or damage my internal organs

Hello dear.
Take few general curative steps like:
1. Stay Hydrated
2. Try Lozenges and Hot Drinks
3. Take Steamy Showers, and Use a Humidifier
4. Remove Irritants From the Air
5. Drugs:
- Decongestants:Tablet Diaminic DA twice daily for three to for days
- Cough suppressants and expectorants: dextromethorphan,guaifenesin.
- Take Deriphyllin Retard 300: For effective control of asthma and daytime wheeze
