Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain After Eating Meal

I was eating chicken and rice last night, After I finished the meal, I got a pain in the middle right part of my chest, I thought it would go away but the pain is still here after waking up, It isn t a constant pain it comes and goes like a stabbing sensation, Should I be worried ? I swallowed some rice made into a ball shape to help dislodge whatever it could be but the pain is still there, I don t have money to go to hospital at the moment I am in the middle of the month , Please help

Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you are having GERD ( Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease ). Since you are having pain after eating chicken and rice, possibility of GERD is more.
It is due to laxity of gastroesophageal sphincter.
Because of this the acid of the stomach tends to come up in the esophagus and cause the symptoms.
Try to follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid hot and spicy food.
2. Avoid large meals, instead take frequent small meals.
3. Avoid stress and anxiety.
4. Start proton pump inhibitor.
5. Go for walk after meals.
6. Keep 2 - 3 pillows under head in the bed.
7. Avoid smoking and alcohol if you have this habit.
8. Loose weight if you are obese.
