Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain And Heart Palpitations

Hi, My name is Arron Holland. I am 23, from south wales. I am about 12 stone and am 5ft 10inch. For the past year I have been experiencing pain and palpitations in my chest on the left side. it s on the far left of my chest, sort of near the arm pit. it can get quite painful at times and can radiate into my shoulder, and more recently into down to my left bicep. The palpitations come and go. they feel like my heart skips a beat, or gives off an extra beat. they are sudden and are usually brought on by exercise. I have a physical job, I work 12 hour shifts and do a lot of lifting and walk a lot. I used to take anabolic steroids, and this come on the last time I done it them over a year a go. I haven t done them much, only 2-3 times in my life. I used to take other recreational drugs, also. I don t take anything anymore. I only drink alcohol every few weeks when I go out; sometimes I smoke socially as well when I ve had a drink. the symptoms are brought on much worse the day after I ve been drinking, and usually last a few days to a week. I ve been to cardiology, I had a 24 ekg, and a stress test. the stress test came back normal, and the ekg only showed a few extra beats which they aren t concerned about . The day I had my 24 hour ekg, I didn t do much as it was my day off, so I didn t get full physical excursion which usually brings on the symptoms. but the, the day I had my stress test, later that night, I had really horrific palpitations all night. they all ways seem to come on a few hours after excursion. I ve been to the hospital A&E many times with the pains but they ve found nothing. I don t know what to do. The pains are getting worse and more frequent, and I was woken up last night early hours in the morning by the pains and constant butterflies in my chest and shortness of breath. I ve tried ignoring them after I received my results and started going back to the gym, like last night, but then that brought on those horrible pains that woke me up. The doctors can t see nothing, what can I do?

Thanks for consulting healthcaremagic.com It is good news for you that you do not have any thing wrong on the stress test by your doctors. In my opinion your chest pain and palpitation is related to some stress and anxiety which leads to panic attacks. I will advise you to do the ECG when you have the chest pain and palpitation. still if this ECG is normal then you should consult Psychiatrist for the treatment and evaluation of anxiety and panic attacks. I hope It will solve your problem.
