Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain

My chest has been hurting for about 8 hours now. It's over on the right side and I feel it when I take breaths. It could be pleurisy. But my heart is beating hard (without any exercise) and it has been doing this for about 3 hours now. I laid down and went to sleep and woke back up with a feeling of uneasyness. I have been taking 1/2 of a Phentermine 37.5mg for about two weeks now, but it's never had this effect on me before. I took my blood pressure and it is 127/87 with a pulse of 85. What do I need to do?

Hello,

In my opinion, you are mostly having musculoskeletal pain because your heart rate and blood pressure are normal. But better to get done ECG and 2D echo to rule out heart diseases. If both these are normal, then no need to worry about heart diseases. Sometimes musculoskeletal pain can cause similar symptoms. So apply warm water pad on affected areas of the chest. Take painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs like ibuprofen and thiocolchicoside. Avoid movements causing pain. Don't worry you will be alright with all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar
