Suggest Treatment For Chiari Malfomation I

My youngest son was diagnosed with chiari malfomation I, boarderline II at birth.
I have been been having severe symptoms all related to chiaris along with my 4 year old son. I have had an MRI but was told that I only had a small spot that drew concern that would be whatched. My 4 year old is going to be having an MRI. My question to you is can this sometime not show on an MRI but through the spine? Please give me some answers because I am tired of living in pain and being diagnosed with a million different things then the treatment has no affect. Thank you Karrey
