Suggest Treatment For Chills, Body Aches And Diarrhea While Suffering From Bacterial Meningitis

My son is 28 years old. His daughter who is four was exposed to bacterial meningitis this week at day care. She seems fine but he is having chills, body aches, diarrhea. He exhibits no rash, stiff neck, or vomiting. Flu is also still present in our area.

Hello welcome to the health care magic

Your child was having bacterial meningitis

I need to know which type of meningitis is present

For the confirmation of diagnosis and subclassification csf culture and routine microscopic and protein, glucose csf estimation should be done

If it is bacterial meningitis then antibiotic course given after hospital admission...

Meanwhile Symptomatic management also to be done

Take care

Hope your concern solved regarding meningitis treatment..
