Suggest Treatment For Chronic Back Pain When On Pills

Hello, I m 30 and decided to start taking the pill, I m only on my 5th day and I already want to stop, the side effects are too much, I have chronic back pain all the time and have become emotional already, my question is if I stop taking it will I get my period after a few days or will it still be roughly around when my next period was due? Thank you!

Hi,

The back pain may not be related to pills.

It can be due to something else and probably due to spine related conditions like prolapsed intervertebral disc.

You can take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac for pain relief.

If the symptoms are persistent you can consult a gynecologist and plan for an ultrasound to rule out any possible pelvic pathology.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
