General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

He should go to the emergency room if he has been unable to have a bowel movement for so long.

In addition to helping to evacuate his bowel, the doctor would need to examine him to determine the cause of his constipation.

This would acquire abdominal and pr examination , imaging may or may not be needed.

I hope this helps
