Chronic Constipation, I advice you to follow the below tips, 
1. High dietary fibre intake : Oatmeal porridge, Chapatis, brown bread withbutter, honey or fruits such as prunes, dates,figs,mangoes,apricots,Green vegetables. 
2. Develop regular bowel habit
3.Drink 10 glasses of water in a day.
4. Bowel Exercises 
5. Tab. Dulcolax  or Tab. Cremalax - 1 at bed time.
6. Also laxopeg sachet can be taken 
7. If not responding, rectal 
enema can be tried
