Suggest Treatment For Chronic Constipation

I took a single capsule of laxative last night as I have been suffering from constipation for 5 days now. Its not that I cant completely poop but the feeling of unsatisfactory and incomplete faecal elimination. Even after laxative, I dont find any effectiveness.

Hi.

I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.

It could be due to chronic constipation or fecal impaction. I advice you to follow this,
1. High dietary fibre intake : Oatmeal porridge, Chapatis, brown bread with
butter, honey or fruits such as prunes, dates, figs, mangoes,apricots,Green vegetables.
2. Drink 10 glasses of water in a day.
3. Exercise.
4. Develop regular bowel habit
5. Tab. Dulcolax or Tab. Cremalax - 1 at bed time.

If not responding, rectal enema can be tried
