Suggest Treatment For Chronic Cough And Chest Congestion

Ive had a cough for best part of 8 weeks now ive been to the doctors teice ive been given anti biotic and steroids neither have cleared it. I had a chest xray on thursday so waiting on results. I am constantly coughing up clear bubbled phlegm, can you make any suggestion what you think I could have

Bronchitis and lung infection should be rule out in your case.
You are having chronic cough with slight expectoration. This is seen with bronchitis and lung infection.
You already had chest x ray. So this will identity lung infection if present.
Get done PFT (pulmonary function test) to rule out bronchitis.
If both are normal than possibility of upper respiratory tract infection is high.
So discuss all these with your doctor ,first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
