Suggest Treatment For Chronic Cough When On Gabappentin

Hi, I have a cough that starts as a very dry scratchy tickle, I cough to clear it, and then I get a throaty, gurgling type of cough, which happens at night. It wakes me up to where it feels like I am drowning. I take gabapentin for a chronic dry cough that I have had for 3 years, but the gurgling is new.

You should find the cause of the cough. It can be caused from common cold, postnasal drip, lung conditions like asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, acid reflux, and side effects of ACE. Please see a doctor.
