Suggest Treatment For Chronic Fatigue And Muscle Pain

Hi there - I suffer chronic fatigue and muscle pain. However, I m am an avid weight lifter and mixed martial artist. I know that i have a tendency to over do-it at the gym, but I feel like the amount of pain and fatigue are out of proportion with what I should normally be experiencing. Also, twice within the past two years, I ve experienced radial nerve injuries which have left, f irst my left hand, and then later, my right hand utterly useless. Useless as in my wrist and hand on whichever side have been completely numb and unable to achieve even the most minimal tasks - typing, putting my hair in a ponytail - i mean the hand/wrist is dead and cannot be used for anything. Fortunately, at this time, both hands are working! However, I continue to feel numbness in both limbs and constant fatigue all over my body ... what do you think is wrong with me? Thanks!

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi,

It could be a hormonal dysfunction or fibromyalgia. I advise you to get a consult first and then we can think of tests to do.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
