Suggest Treatment For Chronic Fever, Nausea And Vomiting

Hello Doctor, My younger Sister (17), is constantly having a fever. It just suddenly comes when she is in some form of stress or her immune system is getting low. She doesn t have the appetite to eat and hardly sleeps...She feels nauseated and vomits frequently...She is in Saudi Arabia and the Doctors there don t seem to know what is wrong.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chronic fever, nausea and vomiting which is because you are suffering from viral infection. I would suggest you to visit general physician once and get complete examination done. You should go for blood and sputum tests. You should take antipyretics to for fever relief such as calpol,paracetamol or adol suppositories acetaminophen. Gargle with saline water. Use mist humidifiers in room. If fever increases do tepid sponging as well with cold water. You should take multivitamin tablets to booster immunity of your body.
