Suggest Treatment For Chronic Headache, Migraine And Low Bp

i have multiple symptoms that i wanted to ask about. i get very severe headaches and migraines EVERYDAY that have been happening since late 2013. About 4-5 times a week when i wake up in the morning, my legs and feet are numb and my hips and lower back hurt. some days i am not even able to move my legs at all. the numbness also occurs in my arms and hands, but not as often. i get pains in my pelvic area during and after intercourse. my blood pressure has been pretty low lately, also. the last time i was at my PCP, he asked me if i usually have a irregular heart beat, so i guess i have an irregular heartbeat now too. and i believe that last thing i can think of is a couple times a week, i get a very bad pain in my left rib area. i am unable to move or breath when this pain happens because it hurts so bad. i also suffer from depression and anxiety issues. and i have VERY irregular periods. i will go months without getting one, then i will bleed for anywhere from 7-10 days, then it will go away for a week, then come back for a couple days, and then be gone for a few more months.

Hi Dear ,

Welcome to HCM,

Understanding your concern .As per your query you have chronic headache, migraine and low bp , which is not getting better with treatment . Well there can be many reasons responsible for migraine like hormonal changes , fluctuations in estrogen seem to trigger headaches , foods , aged cheeses, salty foods and caffeinated product . If you didn't use preventive treatment for migraine headaches, three drug classes used for this purpose are with doctor may prescription antidepressants , antiepileptics and calcium channel blockers . If preventive treatment together with acute phase treatment fail to improve symptoms, Botox injections in scalp could be tried as an effective long lasting symptoms treatment. Severe migraine can also be treated by the use of ergot alkaloid drugs. These drugs need to be taken under the supervision of your doctor. Hence please do consult neurologist for prescription of drugs. Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist for low BP.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
