Suggest Treatment For Chronic Residual Fibrosis And Pleural Thickening In The Lungs

My friend just had his chest xray result and it revealed residual fibrosis at both upper lobes of the lungs and it also shows pleural thickening and or effusion. He had a history of ptb minimal 5 years ago and had completed treatment although he tested negative from sputum afb.. It left a scar on his lungs but now he s worried about this pleural thickening and or effusion.. He opted to have cxr as he s been experiencing dull and pleuritic pain on his left chest. Seeking for advise as to what this could be and what to do next.. Thanks
