Hello,

Pain above the ears may be due to an ear infection or middle ear infection or tension headache etcetera. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is.

Avoid cool drinks, freeze water and smoking. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved, then please consult your doctor so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
