Suggest Treatment For Chronic Sore Throat

I m an opera singer and I have had bad reflux for more than two months. Now I have a chronic sore throat and vocal fry at the bottom of my range. I am on vocal rest, but I have a long season coming up, and I am not feeling much better. I had my cords checked a few weeks ago and the doctor said they are fine but they are not. What is wrong with me, and how can I cure this really fast?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Reflux esophagitis is a cause of chronic cough.
Constant irritation of the throat with reflux of acid into the esophagus and the throat can lead to sore throat.
Treatment of underlying cause - reflux esophagitis is the definitive treatment of chronic sore throat.
Voice rest will provide only temporary relief.
Thus, I suggest you to consult your physician for treatment of reflux esophagitis.
An upper gastrointestinal endoscopy will allow the physician to assess the upper gastrointestinal tract for any lesion like hernia, ulcer etc which may cause long term reflux.

Thanks and take care
