My daughter in law is 30 years old and has full blown cirrhosis of the liver. Was diagnosed 1. 5 years ago. She has not stopped drinking ... drinks about a fifth of vodka per day,, doesn t really eat, weighs about 90 pounds wringing wet, the acities is back in full force, she hallucinates, hears for voices, jaundiced , doesn t follow through with her medical appointments... she and my son have three sons ages 9, 10, 11. The oldest child s diagnosed with AddAdhd and oppositional defiance disorder. My son is a truck driver and tries to be home everyday. He has pretty much washed his hands of her. I think she is psychotic. She is violent towards my son. She knows better than to be violent to the boys. But she does it verbally and emotionally. She blames the world -- my son for all her woes. And my son and grandson lost their uncle and and brother -- my oldest son year and half an. She definitely uses my son s death and twists the knife on her husband....my son. Nobody can do anything?? She blames everyone but breaker. She says ts m sons fault she drink. Doctor any words of wisdom or advice? Thank you. Deb Cobb
