Hello It seems from the history that your father is known diabetic and he is on treatment with insulin for diabetes. It seems his vision in left eye has become sudden cloudy and this can be diabetic cataract. The one characteristic feature of diabetic cataract is it progresses in less than 24 hours. The treatment option is by surgery for cataract extraction. There is no medical treatment available. However the diabetes status should be controlled before surgery.
Thank you
