Suggest Treatment For Coccyx Pain Caused Due To Injury

My husband took a very, very nasty spill by missing a step which was not properly lit. He fell right on his coccyx and has had very significant pain for the last week which is slowly improving slightly. For the last two nights he has awakened with sweating in his trunk area....no fever...and otherwise feels fine except for the coccyx pain. What is your thought on this?

Hi,
Due to hard impact on coccygeal region fracture or dislocation is very common so go for x-ray sacro-coccygeal region to rule out fracture or dislocation.
Avoid more strain on this area.
Ok and take care.
