Suggest Treatment For Cold And Cough In An Infant
my 18 month is having cold and cough since last two weeks. i had taken her to the pediatrician who advised to gv syp Xpect PD ,Syp Allerid , Otrivin ,nasal drops and nebulisation .in the first week she had no appetite he had given Syp Nutrolin B thereafter he gv Syp Polybion, Her appetite has improved however her cold and cough has not gone yet .He has now told to give antibiotic Syp Augpen HS 5ml twice a day, Its is safe for the baby to b given antibiotic at this age?

It is safe to give antibiotic, don’t worry. Give him a lot of rest and lot of fluids he will be okay in a week or so.
