Suggest Treatment For Cold, Cough And Congestion

I have had a cold now for 2 months. I am congested and cough a great deal. Sometimes I cough so long and deep that I get quite dizzy. My nose is stuffy and i do bring up some mucus when i cough. the mucus tends to be a yellow color. saw a doctor a month ago and had xrays. lungs looked clear. What can I do to get rid of this cold.

Hello,

It seems like chronic congestion. I think you might be also a bit allergic.
If lungs are clear, then, you need only supportive care:
- use nasal decongestant
- take antihistamines at night, I usually recommend natural antihistamines containing thyme
- increase fluids intake
- take good care of your upper respiratory tract hygiene
- use mucolytics

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
