Suggest Treatment For Cold, Cough And Vomiting In A Child

My son is about to complete 3yrs in Sep. He had viral fever last week, temp 103 deg. , we consulted Doctor and gave Ibugesic. We did blodd test, urine test, dengue test and all came ok. there was a little infection in urine sample and doctor told that it will go away with antibiotic and he presecribed us which we are giving him as 5 days course. The fever went away on 5th Day. After that 2 days he was fine, but again he now has cold, cough, and vomitting, yesterday night he had fever also again going upto 102. Please suggest.

Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to upper respiratory tract infection.

For that, for fever, you can give syp Paracetamol, syp Ondansetron and cough syrup containing syp Levocetirizine.

Kindly keep him hydrated. Watch for symptoms like high-grade fever, decreased appetite, irritable.
