Suggest Treatment For Cold, Cough, Chest Congestion And Sneezing

I m usually in excellent health , active, yoga daily, into natural healing, eat well. Now I ve had a cold-turned-cough for 2 weeks. Took Musinex expectorant...nothing coming up. Getting better, little sneezing and coughing now, but feels like chest is congested. Recommendations?

As per your complain it seems that you have an upper respiratory tract infection along with superseded bacterial infection..
Congestion in chest is also secondary to infection leading to excessive phlegm or mucous formation..
I would suggest you to consult an ENT expert or a Pulmonologist and get evaluated and he can advise you a sputum culture, throat swab culture, chest x ray etc to rule out the exact cause of the problem and treatment can be planned accordingly..
He can advise you antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers,anti allergics, mucolytics like Ambroxol, decongestants oral as well as nasal, warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room..
