Suggest Treatment For Cold , Loose Motion And Fever
My sister inlaw is suffering from fever from last two days
on 5th sep night start fever with cold next day
6th Morning in cough some blood comes, whole day fever was between 100 to 104 C. Blood plattelts count was 175.4 lacs/comm
7th morning fever there was fever between 100 to 102 C. Start itching on whole body after afternoon. Body pain was started and also started loose motion started.
Today still ferver is in betw 100 to 103, body pain, and loose motion, Blood plattelts count is 154.3 lacs/comm
Pls suggest what i have to do and what and where i have to go for treatment.
currently are residing at Dwarka, New delhi. Pls help.

Welcome to HCM.
Understanding your concern. As per your query your sister in law is having symptoms of cold, loose motion and fever which seems to be due to acute gastroenteritis which could be due to a virus. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start giving oral rehydration fluids sip by sip to maintain the hydration. You should take Probiotics such as lactobacillus. Visit general physician once and get it examined. You should take antiemetic like domperidone and ranitidine for gastritis. Avoid giving any sharp and spicy food.You should go for blood tests as well and start treatment after proper examination. You should give Ibuprofen to her along with proton pump inhibitors as well.
