Suggest Treatment For Cold, Running Nose And Coughs While On Temazepam

I took half of a Temazepam and now need to take an antihistamine for a cold with constant runny nose and coughing. Is it safe to take one chloropheniramine or Cetirizine to stop the runny nose. I don t want a bad reaction, and need to sleep, so don t want anything that will keep me awake.

Hi,

For having anti-allergic effect & avoiding drowsiness after it.... you can take an Allegra instead of cetirizine or Avil.

A combination of anti-allergic with decongestant like Sinarest would also do.

For long-running cold tale cetirizine with Montelukast combination. Avoid exposure to allergens like cold, dust, fumes or smoke.

Avoid driving while you take any of these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
