Suggest Treatment For Cold Symptoms, Swollen Glands And Choking Coughs

I have swollen glands, however I do no have a sore throat. I have a very bad dry cough that causes me to choke. I had cold symptoms a few days prior to swollen glands and bad cough. The cold symptoms have subsided, but the swollen gland and choking coughs remain. What is this condition

The lymph nodes ( glands) in the body respond to infection in particular areas.

Because you have a cough/cold, the nodes in the neck would enlarge. A sore throat does not need to be present.

The nodes return to normal size after the infection has resolved, though it can sometimes take up to 4 weeks for this to occur.
If they are still enlarged after this 4 week period then you can visit your doctor for an assessment.
