Hi, my name is Patricia. After putting off seeing a primary care physician for many years, I was recently forced by my physical therapist to find/see one. I have had a foot injury since late October and suddenly in March my foot and the back of my leg were purple. I saw the new doctor, as well as a new orthopedic foot surgeon. Orthopedist diagnosed me with complex regional pain syndrome. Ok, I can deal with that and hope to be rid of that soon. Primary care doctor said my cholesterol was high, blood pressure high, and she sent me for numerous test, including colonoscopy. Two polyps were removed last week (mom had colon cancer) but was told I had diviticulosis. That would explain a lifetime of issues. High-fiber diet recommended. Actually, that is what I have been doing for several years and has not helped much. I know that high-fiber will help with cholesterol as well. I have a yeast intolerance so that makes things tough. I am very frustrated right now. I just bought a product called CholestOff and want to start that. Do you know if it is safe to take if you have diviticulosis? Thank you
