Suggest Treatment For Constant Headache, Lower Lip Twitching And Numbness

I have a constant headache on the left side of my head with some lower lip twitching and numbness although those have now gone. I am also exhausted all the time, my bloods do not show anything. My doctor has started amytryptilline for the pain until I see a neurologist. Any advice would be appreciated

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain numbness on face along with twitching of lip can be due to trauma or infection in the branches of Facial Nerve as the nerve supply to the muscles of face and lips is given by the facial nerve and any disorder related to it causes twitching ,numbness as well as in severe caases can cause muscle paralysis..
You should immediately consult a Neuro physician and get evaluated and a 3D MRI or CT SCAN can help in diagnosing the exact cause of the problem and treatment can be planned accordingly..
You can keep taking Atrovastatin and also do warm compresses over the affected side..
