Suggest Treatment For Constant Pain In My Lower Left Abdomen And Irregular Periods
Hi Im 39 years old have had three children and not planning on having any more, My uterus measures 13.0x5.3x5.7cm and my ultrasound results are 1. Nabothian Cysts 2. Heterogeneously myometrium without solid uterine lesion 3. Bilateral ovaries not visualized on the present study. What does all this mean? My periods are heavy with large blood clots sometimes I get two periods in one month and are very heavy. I have constant pain in my lower left abdomen.
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Heavy bleeding, irregular periods and pain in lower abdomen with heterogeneous myometrium is suggestive of adenomyosis. It is a condition of estrogen overactivity and can be treated by drugs and surgery. I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined and treated accordingly. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
