General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Constipation is a common side effect of Deanxit. I would recommend to use over the counter option to treat constipation such as Miralax.

I do not recommend to stop the medication. If the symptoms continue you should consult your doctor about this side effect of the medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
