Suggest Treatment For Constipation And Anal Abscess

Hi, I have had constipation for the last year. Had a colonoscopy and could not find anything wrong. I still have a swollen lower stomach. I have lower back pain, had a MRI and have a couple of bulging discs and a small hemangioma at L2. I had an ablasion 4 years ago and started bleeding periodically and my gyn said the ablasion failed and I need a hystorecomy. I feel all this is related somehow. I also think that possibly I have an anal abscess. Quite the mess. I have had CT scans, biopies, blood work, nothing abnormal. any suggestions

Hi,

As per your description, it suggests you have constipation.

For relieving constipation I would suggest some lifestyle modifications.

Eat green leafy vegetables and fruits that contain high amount of dietary fiber which helps in fighting constipation.

Drink enough amount of water at least 4 liters per day. Stop consuming oily and junk food especially made from Meda. And anal abscess can be diagnosed easily but I think I would be anal fissure mostly. Have a complete diagnosis and treatment from another physician because without looking I can't say whether it's abscess or fissure or not at all.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nirav Nimavat, General & Family Physician
