Suggest Treatment For Constipation With Abdominal Pain
Hi, I m a 21 year old female with no prior medical illnesses. About 5 days ago I noticed I was experiencing constipation. Since then, I ve tried to adjust my diet, eating lots of roughage and drinking fluids. When I am able to use the bathroom, my stool is relatively thin, but not pencil-thin. It does not have an abnormal color- just a regular brown with no present blood. I went to a doctor today who ran a urine test which came back normal, as well as an X-Ray which seemed to show no present obstruction. I have slight abdominal pain that feels like gastro-intestinal pains. I was told to take miralax. Does it sound like normal constipation or could it be something more serious?
Hi dear it looks like a normal constipation don't worry too much unless you have got further symptoms ,just follow a routine and diet modifications ,with lots of exercise .if you got any menstrual related problem contact a gynaecologist.a course of antibiotic and probiotics might help you consult your physician and discuss ,he might order a scan of abdomen as well,as of treatment you can take medications for stomachache.
