Suggest Treatment For Continuous Menstrual Flow

I have had my period for almost 2 and 1/2 weeks now. It started out light and then was normal for awhile, getting light again after the first 4 days or so. At almost 2 weeks it stopped for a day or so and then started up again and it's pretty heavy. Why is this happening?
