Suggest Treatment For Continuous Pain In The Knee And Thigh

I have a continuous pain in my left knee and thigh. I had a miscarriage in march this year. During examination doctor found a cyst in my left ovary which is about 5 cm. Is this pain is related to the cyst? Also we are trying for a pregnancy but I am not able to conceive.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
I have read & understood your concern.
Pain in thigh & knee can be due to over use/ calcium deficiency/or compression on nerve supplying the part.- which can be due to the cyst you have.
Similarly ovarian cyst can lead to hormonal imbalance & disturbnce in ovulation too. This can affect conception .
* you need few investigations like blood calcium, iron, vitamin D levels/ hormonal assay/ USG abdomen / CT scan or MRI of the region as per expert's advise
Please consult a gynecologist- for management of cyst & help in conception / orthopedic surgeon as per your doctor's advise, to evaluate cause of pain .
You would be alright with specific treatment after knowing the cause.
Thanks
