Suggest Treatment For Cough , Abscess And Wheezing

Hi, I've had a cough for around 5 weeks now, causing me to wheeze, i did have a cold too but that went about 1 week ago. I went to my doctors around 2 weeks ago they gave me antibiotics and an inhaler, i havn't finished my course of antibiotics is that why I still have my cough ? Also have a lump under my chin like near my throat, near the gland, and have an abcess. I do smoke, could this be why i have a cough and the lump under my chin ? I've been feeling a little nausea, and going hot and cold sometimes.
