Suggest Treatment For Cough After Smoking Burnt Wood

Hi, I have a question about well i m freaking out because i just learned that my mother burned pressure treated wood in our backyard fire pit a couple of days ago.. she sat in the smoke and i got blasted as well.. it came in the house some too... today i have a cough and i m nervous if I should be getting us checked out?

Hello,

You are having a cough due to respiratory tract irritation.

For that, you can be prescribed the antihistaminic drug.

If your cough worsens than I suggest you to investigate with chest digital x-ray and spirometry for further workup.
